Providing underprivileged children with clothing

Our mission at Clothe-a-Child of Ohio, Inc. is to provide underprivileged children with clothing in the Hancock County, Ohio, and surrounding counties. Through donations made by generous community members and businesses, we are able to clothe approximately 500 children per year.

On average, each child receives roughly $250 in clothing made possible by generous donations

Larry Summers

President & Director

In 1992, Larry was part of a simple team-building exercise to clothe about 60 children for winter. The success of this endeavor led to the formation of Clothe-a-Child, which continues to support the children of Hancock and surrounding counties.

Robert Dickman

Vice President & Director

Robert first got involved in Clothe-a-Child in 1996 at it’s origin in Indianapolis, Indiana. He saw first-hand the joy it brought the children and their families and knew it was something he wanted to be move involved in. Shortly after his move to Ohio in 2010, he joined the Clothe-a-Child committee in Findlay, Ohio and subsequently the board.
